Mesa Vista Estates
Mesa Vista Estates subdivision in Leander, Texas, Williamson County
Mesa Vista subdivision in Leander, Texas is a little known, newer area that is hard to find. Located off Bagdad Road, north of 2243 (or Nameless Road), Mesa Vista is tucked away out among private pastureland. Take Bagdad Road to County Road 280. Wind along the county road heading west until you have driven accross 2 cattle guards. And by the way, drive slow, cattle are grazing along the way and may cross over the road! There are signs once there bragging about the fact that there are no City of Leander taxes, yet great Leander ISD schools. 5 acre or more estate size lots with really nice site built homes on wells and septic sytems. Like so many areas in and around Austin, Texas home & lot values have appreciated over the years. Inevitably, Lakeline Boulevard will connect with County Road 280 (according to the City of Leander Master Roadway Plan). Light commuter rail will begin soon from Leander to Austin, Texas. Capital Metro has a Park & Ride bus station on 183 accross from the new HEB Plus (was the second largest in Texas).
Leander is a progressive city with a stable government and a great plan for the future including a TOD.
