Allandale is a very popular neighborhood in north, central Austin, Texas generally south of 183 Research, north of W. Koenig Lane, east of MoPac and west of N. Lamar Boulevard. Most Allandale homes have 3 or 4 bedrooms, have about 1,400 to 2,400 square feet and were built in the 1960’s but you will find some homes built in the 1940’s and 1950’s. Being a mature neighborhood there are many large trees. Allendale has several descriptive legal subdivision names like Allandale North, Allandale West, Allandale Oaks, Allandale Park, Allandale Place, Allandale Estates, Allendale Terrace.
